Fateh Box Office Worldwide: Sonu Sood’s Action-Packed Film Falls Short, On Track for a Disappointing Rs 14 Crore Closing

Fateh, featuring Sonu Sood and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead, along with Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Raaz, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and others, is about to finish its time in theaters after struggling at the box office.

Fateh is set to finish with around Rs 14 crore worldwide.

Released on January 10, Fateh was one of the first Hindi films of 2025. However, it didn’t connect with the audience and is now nearing its end in theaters, just as Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force is about to release.

The film started with Rs 2 crore net on its opening day and earned around Rs 6 crore net over its first weekend in India. Unfortunately, it saw a big drop on its first Monday and struggled at the box office. It’s now expected to finish with about Rs 10 crore net (Rs 12 crore gross) in India.

Additionally, it earned over Rs 2 crore from international markets, bringing its total worldwide box office collection to Rs 14 crore gross.

Fateh Fails to Impress and is Declared a Disaster.

Sonu Sood’s directorial debut, Fateh, didn’t connect with the audience. It received average reviews, which affected its box office performance. The film also lacked a big star and had weak promotion before its release. If the makers had marketed it better, it might have done better at the box office.

Fateh couldn’t even make back its production costs from theaters, so it’s being called a disaster. Now, the makers are hoping for better results from non-theatrical deals. It will be interesting to see if the Sonu Sood-starrer can create any buzz when it releases on OTT.
