Superstar Amitabh Bachchan bought a luxurious duplex apartment in Mumbai’s Oshiwara area for ₹31 crore in April 2021.
The apartment is part of The Atlantis, a residential project by the Crystal Group. The property covers 1.55 acres and offers spacious 4, 5, and 6 BHK apartments. Now, the latest news reveals that the actor has sold the property.
According to a News18 report, Amitabh Bachchan sold his duplex apartment in Oshiwara for a huge ₹83 crore. An analysis by Square Yards, based on IGR registration documents, shows that this sale made a 168% profit. The sale was officially registered in January this year.
According to IGR registration documents reviewed by Square Yards, Amitabh Bachchan’s duplex apartment sold for ₹83 crore covers 529.94 square meters and has a carpet area of 5,185.62 square feet. It also features a terrace of 445.93 square meters and includes 6 parking spaces. The sale required a stamp duty of ₹4.98 crore and registration charges of ₹30,000.
The apartment was previously rented to actress Kriti Sanon in November 2021 for ₹10 lakh per month, with a security deposit of ₹60 lakh, according to IGR lease documents.
It seems that Amitabh Bachchan made a smart financial decision by selling the property.
