Unni Mukundan’s Marco Shatters Box Office Records with Massive 12,400% Growth in Hindi Release
Unni Mukundan’s Marco continues to soar at the box office, setting new records with an astonishing 12,400% increase in earnings on the third Saturday of its Hindi release.
After 16 days in theaters, the Malayalam action thriller’s Hindi version has amassed an impressive ₹6.57 crore, and it shows no signs of slowing down, quickly approaching the ₹10 crore mark.
The film’s remarkable performance has placed it ahead of major Hindi releases, including Varun Dhawan’s Baby John, which it has now outperformed. Marco has also outpaced the Hindi earnings of high-profile 2024 films starring Rajinikanth and Dhanush. Vettaiyan collected ₹4.35 crore, while Captain Miller earned ₹4 crore in its Hindi release — both figures well below Marco’s current total.
On January 4, the third Saturday of its run, Marco earned ₹1.3 crore, further solidifying its dominance at the box office. With these figures, the film’s success in the Hindi market is proving to be a game-changer for both Mukundan and the broader Malayalam film industry.
